WORK UNDER WAY ON NEW-LOOK SHOWROOM

A BUILDERS’ Merchant is extending the showroom at one of its 20 branches as part of an ongoing investment and expansion programme.
Jackson Building Centres has added another top brand name to its product range after the Scunthorpe branch became an approved outlet for Kohler bathroom suites.
At least four new Kohler suites will be on show along with products from other leading manufacturers including Utopia, Armitage Shanks and Symphony. The outlet’s fireplace showroom is also being refurbished to include a wider variety of models.
Scunthorpe branch manager Tony Greaves said the extended showroom would be more customer friendly as well as offering a greater range of products. “The project is due for completion later this month and the showroom is still open for business in the meantime,” he added.
Jackson’s group showroom manager Maxine Arva described the Kohler range as impressive and said it looked set to be the `next big thing in bathrooms’. “It really is affordable luxury and there are some very different products in the range,” she explained. “It includes models such as the River bath which is a huge whirlpool, the overflowing Sok bath in which you can really soak and relax and cleverly designed basins without plugs,” added Maxine.
Kohler products are already on display at Jackson’s Nottingham branch and there are plans to feature it at Lincoln and the new Swinton store next year.
As well as bathrooms, kitchens and fireplaces, Jackson branches stock a wide range of items and equipment including plumbing and heating supplies, building materials, timber, landscaping, ironmongery and decorating products.
