JACKSON BACKS PRIMARY SCHOOL PROJECT
5th May 2005
JACKSON Building Centre in Stamford is helping parents at Uffington C of E Primary School create a magical ‘Victorian’ garden.
Jackson’s branch manager at Stamford, Lathen Tuplin, responded to a plea for help and supplied some free block paving for the project – along with additional packs at cost price. He was approached by members of the school’s Parents and Friends Association who wanted to install a quiet, shaded area within the school grounds.
Lathen said: “We are always keen to help members of our community when we can and we were happy to contribute high quality building products for this scheme.”
The garden will feature paths constructed from the Jackson’s paving, a central tree and Victorian-style covered seating areas.
