JACKSON MAKE NEW WINDOW APPOINTMENT

Jackson Building Centre in Lincoln has strengthened one of its core areas of business with the appointment of a new Branch Manager at Jackson Window Systems.
Michelle Howe has been with the company since January 2002, having previously worked as Manager of Albany Conservatories in Kirton Lindsey. Within just three months of being at the company she was promoted to the position of Assistant Branch Manager at Jackson Window Systems with a specific responsibility for production.
Michelle had worked alongside the existing Branch Manager, Steve Lovegrove, until his departure at the end of April this year, where she was jointly responsible for growing the branch to a turnover of over £3m.
Simon Jackson, joint Managing Director commented: “ We are delighted to have appointed Michelle as Branch Manager. Since she joined the company she has made a great contribution to the developing business and has proved beyond at doubt that she is the right person for the job.”
Jackson’s has branches throughout the East Midlands and South Yorkshire and window supplies is a major part of its business. The Window Systems centre offers customers the ultimate in window, door and conservatory design and specifications.
Each branch has a wide selection of items and equipment to cater for a host of building needs ranging from minor DIY jobs to major construction projects. Among the items stocked are heating supplies, building materials, timber, landscaping and decorating products. Jackson’s also has kitchen, bathroom and fireplace showrooms displaying products from leading manufacturers. Some branches even offer the option of power tool hire as part of the company’s one-stop shop service to ensure customers are fully equipped to carry out the job.
