JACKSON MAKE NEW MARKETING APPOINTMENT
31st August 2007
Jackson Building Centres in Lincoln has strengthened its marketing department, with the appointment of a new marketing assistant at the company’s head office at Canwick Rd.
Ben Middleton, 21, from Gray St in Lincoln, has been with the company since September 2006 when he joined Jackson’s Management Training Programme. Ben successfully finished the scheme in August 2007 when he was appointed into his new role as marketing assistant.
Ben reports to marketing manager Colin Bartleet, and his responsibilities include organising the company’s Landscaping Launch, which will take place in January 2008, proof reading and copy writing for the company’s Trade Talk publication. Other responsibilities will include managing corporate events at the company’s box at Donnington Park and assisting with the general marketing of the company.
Ben, who started his new role on 13th August said he was enjoying it: “This is a big change for me, the management training scheme concentrated predominantly on sales, so this is a great challenge. I am really pleased to have been given the opportunity to learn more about marketing and to progress my career at Jackson.”
Colin Bartleet, marketing manager commented: “It is a pleasure to be able to welcome Ben to the marketing department. It’s always nice to see trainees coming through the management scheme. I am sure he will prove to be a great asset to the team and I look forward to working with him.”
