JACKSON CONTINUES TO STRENGTHEN MARKETING DEPARTMENT

Jackson Building Centres has welcomed a new marketing assistant at its head office in Canwick Rd, Lincoln.
Cat Webb, 21, joined the family-run independent builders’ merchant, straight after graduating from the University of Lincoln, where she studied Advertising and Marketing.
Cat took up her new position as general marketing assistant on Monday 8th October and reports to Colin Bartleet, marketing manager. She will work alongside Ben Middleton, who joined the marketing team last month, on a range of marketing initiatives, including the company’s reward scheme Jakpoints, managing corporate events at the company’s box at Donnington Park and copy writing for the TradeTalk publication.
She commented: “I am really enjoying my role so far, its really varied and no two days are ever the same. One of the reasons that I applied for the role, was that I was aware the company’s excellent reputation and so I see it as a real step up on the career ladder.”
Colin Bartleet, Marketing Manager commented: “We are delighted to have attracted Cat to the company and to welcome her to the marketing department. This latest drive in recruitment is part of an on-going commitment by the company to continue to expand and develop the business.
“I look forward to working closely with Cat and Ben on a range of marketing initiatives, designed to promote and increase awareness of the Jackson brand.”
Jackson operates 24 branches throughout the East Midlands and Yorkshire and employs over 1,050 people.
